Physical Practice- Feet Hands & Face Reflex
In this Free module of the Empowerment Toolkit we explore the Feet Hands and Face Reflex movements. These movements help our nervous system stabilise so that we can go into calm mode in a matter of minutes and will also leave you feeling quite relaxed. Long term you will find you are less triggered, less often as your nervous system becomes more robust.
Reflexes are automatic however with this Reflex you may need to practice a few times before you can feel its effects as it may be hard for you to feel your feet or hands or to relax your jaw. It may be even harder for you to feel all three together. Keep practising until you can. You will feel something instantly, however the real effects will be more powerful with time.

Here in this video of the Free Empowerment Toolkit module, I have applied the movements we learnt above to a yoga practice so that you can see how the body can learn to use it in an embodied way. Of course, yoga is not the only modality it can be used in. Feel free to try it out in any mindful modality you currently use as well. It works well with slower movements however when you get good at it. you can even apply it to dancing and other fast moving sports to keep calm.
